Since September I've lost about 15 lbs.

Not too shabby, eh?
Well, that's the whole point of it; to become less shabby and more shapely.
Thanksgiving was a little rough but I'm proud that I maintained weight-and didn't gain any. This week I managed to trim off a half a pound. Now, I've got to hold tight until glutonous Hannukkah and Christmas passes.

It's not just the holidays that make a person want to eat more, I think its winter time. The sun goes down at around 4:30. I feel tired earlier and feel the need to eat something that will give me a sugar burst and keep me going. But, having to track and write down the food I eat, including grams of carbohydrate, fiber, protein, fat as well as calories, well, that does help me stop and think twice about my cravings.

I hope everybody who stumbles upon this blog does something that's good/healthy for them. Stay cozy with those you love, and drink my portion of the eggnog for me.
