Everytime I go to a funeral or wake of somebody I knew from a radio place where I worked,I'm reminded that friends are increadible, and I have some pretty good ones that I made on the job. Our companies/management, company policies, might have been pretty awful at times, but I worked with the best. If I worked in a smaller city I think we'd all see more of each other, but we're all so spread out all over Maryland, Virginia and DC it's just so hard to socialize. It's a shame that sad gatherings are the happiest of reunions.
I should be working, pushing to get Ben Barnes of Texas more radio interviews as i write this. I'll get to work soon. Sometimes I think too much and this blog is a good place to unload. I hope that you who read my postings will unload on this blog too.
If you're interested in one such funeral I attended, check out the obitiuary pages of the Washington Post. This page won't be available after May.
