My friend was anonymous in the flesh, unless you worked for progressive causes or were a democrat on Capitol Hill.
But, in the virtual world of the blogger, my friend was being mourned for, days before I encountered her obituary at work and in the Washington Post.
She was revered.
But, that was the virtual world. Still--and I guess I'm going back and forth on this--considering how private my friend was about her life, this might be just the way she would have wanted it.
