Thunderbolt and Lightning! Very, Very Frightening

Me!
Galilleo!

So, I live in the greater DC area. And, we've had our share of summer thunderstorms.
My pets, especially, the eldest of the three, is getting more and more sensitive and scared of the bad weather. The littlest pet, Skipjack, a dog, has always shown some caution with the rain.

As for me, I'm hopeful that the rain will cool things down siginificantly so that I can turn off the AC and save some electricity. I don't know if you've seen the headlines but we've got a bit of an electricity problem in Maryland. Well, we the consumers do. Those who provide it, can get it for us, and are now able to charge us a premium. This month's bill for the juice arrived and it was easily DOUBLE the previous months bill.

So, now you know why I'm a tree hugging conservationist.

Next, what I did about a birds nest, perilously built close to an increadibly hot, and heat throwing hallogen spotlight that I like to keep on overnight for my animals so that they can go in and out the doggy-door whenever they like while us humans sleep...stay tuned!

Oh, and thanks to Kevin Ambrose for posting these photos on the world wide web. Talk about being a guy who's in the right place at the right time. This guy sure knows how to capture the lightening strikes!

He's just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go!
